[-- Attachment #1 --] I really spent some time tracing the make release, but couldn't find any way to modify the compiler flags for the release. Why do I need a populated /usr/obj if it's never touched? I really think I'm missing something. Two years ago I had no problems building specail 4.4-RELEASEs.
