I installed freebsd 4.6 on two different Pentium machines, a P5-133 and a P5-233. When I run screen, installed from the package on the distrib cds (version 3.09.11), top and uptime, etc, report a full system load and "WCPU" use approaching 100% for the process "screen". The system doesn't behave like the CPU is 100% consumed, but I don't see this on older freebsd installations, 4.4, 4.3. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks.
