It requires PHP w/IMAP, which uses the UW-IMAP cclient libs.

On the back end, you'll need to install courier-imap (the only Maildir/
compatible imapd that I'm aware of).

FWIW, I rather like sqwebmail.  The templates were a bear to get through,
but I have a very nice web mail interface now.  Clean, simple, and easy to
use.
