I wanted to run FreeBSD on a Dell PowerEdge 2900. It is running a quad Zeon. Bellow is a clip from dmesg and I wanted to make sure I installed the correct FreeBSD version to support this system. I downloaded the AMD64 architecture version of FreeBSD. Did I choose the correct ISO to install on this server? If so is there a central location or a good place to start reading about 64 bit processors so I can run this efficiently? Also why does the first CPU show up as BSP and the rest show AP. What does BSP and AP mean? Copyright (c) 1992-2007 The FreeBSD Project. Copyright (c) 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 The Regents of the University of California.
