That commit was restoring what I botched in the first place.
Everything (else) I have communicated or am communicating through re@.

Kind of a weird situation to be honest, trying to keep the tree unbroken, so
that people can continue to build releases, introduce something which I
thought (mistakingly) was needed without re@ approval, would I then leave it
be until I got it through with re@?
