Hi Sean,

(smile) So far, mfsroot.gz/mfsroot.flp has failed (for me/Multia) from
the 11-28 & 12-06 SNAPs. I have not tried the one from 11-25.

The one that has been working for me is mfsroot.gz from 11-24, but I
could not locate a copy, at the moment.

I just went to ftp://mirrors.rcn.com/pub/FreeBSD/alpha/3.0-19981127-SNAP

and downloaded mfsroot.gz from the floppies directory and it seems to
work (i haven't done the install yet, but the keyboard is no longer
frozen and I can now make selections from the /stand/sysinstall Main
Menu).

For the folks in Germany/Europe, Oliver Fromme mentioned the mirror
located at: ftp://ftp7.de.freebsd.org

I'm 'CC'ing this note to the list in case others would like to try.
