Mounting root from ufs:/dev/da0s1a em0: Link is up 100 Mbps Full Duplex >Description: When I choose A, for 'Use Entire Disk' the FDISK Partition Editor shows the following: Disk name: da0 FDISK Partition Editor DISK Geometry: 243142 cyls/255 heads/63 sectors = 3906076230 sectors (1907263MB) Offset Size(ST) End Name PType Desc Subtype Flags 0 63 62 - 12 unused 0 63 3906076167 3906076229 da0s1 8 freebsd 165 -388891066 442 3906076671 - 12 unused 0 I assume the offset shouldn't be a negative number. The only way I was able to write a partition on the array was to choose a smaller partition size. Here is what I'm currently using: Offset Size(ST) End Name PType Desc Subtype Flags 0 63 62 - 12 unused 0 63 2147472747 2147472809 da0s1 8 freebsd 165 2147472810 1758603862 3906076671 - 12 unused 0 The size specified above was a random number to test if I could partition the system at all. This doesn't seem like the correct solution and I can't seem to allocate the rest of the space without getting the negative offset again. >How-To-Repeat: type sysinstall and go to the partition editor >Fix: Not sure, but willing to test patches. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
