I'm running a KDS Valiant 6480iPTD-07 [http://www.kdscanada.ca/Notebook/valiant.htm] I believe it has a realtek 10/100 [rl0] ethernet card in it. Under freebsd 4.3 the network seems to run ass slow. IE it took me 10 minute to transfer 10 megs on my LAN using ftp and scp. Does anyone have any experience or direction so i can get my NIC working at a livable speed ? Thanks.
