FreeBSD will automatically detect if you have a Pentium CPU with the
F00F bug and protect you from it. The F00F bug allows ordinary
applications to "crash" the CPU and force a reboot (I think that's
right).

Where are you reading the time from? If you run the command "date", you
should see local time. If you run "date -u" you should see GMT. If it's
not right, set your timezone by running "tzsetup" as root.
