That seems to help, although one has to edit /boot/loader.conf and reboot the
instance to apply it... Also my only test is just running date one minute
apart, so if you have any ideas how to test more, I'd be happy to...

root@freebsd:~ # sysctl -a | grep kern.timecounter.smp_tsc_adjust
kern.timecounter.smp_tsc_adjust: 1
root@freebsd:~ # date
Wed Jun 30 19:00:59 UTC 2021
root@freebsd:~ # date
Wed Jun 30 19:01:59 UTC 2021
