Ed, Thanks a lot. This is very clear, and addresses my issue exactly. I'll talk with domaindiscover.com and see if they can work this out. With thing the way they are with their layoff's, etc. who knows when they will finish. You may be able to access the registry A glue record through the domain management interface with your registrar, http://domaindiscover.com/. This will be seperate from your domain nameserver information. It isn't always easy to find but it should offer you the option of deleting or modifying the ip. You will probably only be able to delete it if there are no dependent domains registered. I hope this is clear, addresses your issue and helps somewhat. ed Quoting John Brooks <john@day-light.com>: | just curious... were ns1.purplecat.net and ns2.purplecat.net ever | registered | as nameserver hosts with networksolutions at some point in the past? | | note the "Updated Date: 05-nov-2001" in the whois record - do you think | they | may be holding some old data because they still have you listed as hosts on | their system? | | -- | John Brooks | john@stlbsd.org | | | -----Original Message----- | From: owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG | [mailto:owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Peter Brezny | Sent: Tuesday, April 30, 2002 10:58 AM | To: Forrest W.
