Please avoid lifetime entitlements to things that cost the project to produce. i.e. Snapshot CD's, network bandwidth etc. Unfunded liabilities can really kill a nice idea. Maybe two years should be the maximum time for any entitlement. (Then they will have to pay again to renew their entitlement - At least the project will then have regular income to fund these things). Of course the entitlement subscriptions should all be a reasonable price with the ability to pay more on the understanding that the extra money is purely a donation only. I like the idea of being able to suggest what development you're interested in. The donation web page should have pick lists and check boxes for people to indicate what they are most interested in for near future development.
