Thanks for the mail. I have loaded the 'linux-emu' files from /xperimnt
on the 2.0.5 CDROM and rebuilt the kernel. I cannot do any testing of the
database because I need a license, however the program that generates the
information for the license runs but produces the following message :-
jack# ./texlicinfo
./texlicinfo: using incompatible library '/lib/libc.so.4'
Desire minor version >= 6 and found 5
Should I continue with 'linux-emu' or switch to the "more advanced emulation"
mentioned in the email reply ? (Where would I get the new emulator from ?)
On an unrelated point, is there a program which will create a floppy disc
that is bootable ?
Thanks for the help,
Ian.
