Oh! yes.

1- I've written some generic code for SMB bus, the SMB command interface.
   This code is arch independant, no interface driver has been written yet ;
   hmm, not exactly, a high level I2C driver is available to allow access to
   the SMB command set over I2C bus.

2- New bus architecture is Doug's generic bus system. smbus has been written
   over this system.
