Martin: Same thing happened to me yesterday. Check the GNOME-on-FreeBSD FAQ at http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/ (under 'known issues' I believe). You'll need to remove one of the files in /usr/ports/multimedia/gstreamer-plugins/files then make clean and make install clean that port first before returning to building gnome2 from the metaport. This worked well for me, though there may be a even simpler solution... Hope that helps, VS On Tue, 2003-04-29 at 04:23, Martin Kruse Jensen wrote: > When trying to install gnome2 which requires gstreamer-plugins, i get the > following error: > > # make install clean > ===> Patching for gstreamer-plugins-0.6.1 > ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for gstreamer-plugins-0.6.1 > Ignoring previously applied (or reversed) patch. > 1 out of 1 hunks ignored--saving rejects to configure.rej > >> Patch patch-configure failed to apply cleanly. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/multimedia/gstreamer-plugins. > > > Anyone who knows some fix or workarround for this problem?
