Yes, it would be nice to track down.. The drive is not particularly fast but single threaded sequential reads=20 and writes (on the array) are not unreasonable (220/300Mb/sec) so it=20 seems odd the penalty for accessing a busy array is so bad (of the=20 order of seconds of delay). =2D-=20 Daniel O'Connor software and network engineer for Genesis Software - http://www.gsoft.com.au "The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from." -- Andrew Tanenbaum GPG Fingerprint - 5596 B766 97C0 0E94 4347 295E E593 DC20 7B3F CE8C --nextPart1351536.bXiDAqkTWd Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.12 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBLK3AG5ZPcIHs/zowRAsOcAKCnHPImA1V+8Y9kZsolSPYKbZ7r6gCeLRdE vfvnsB6ipd0EaY32TyhEzMs= =vAA8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1351536.bXiDAqkTWd--
