 Same problem occurs in 2.2.2-RELEASE.
 
 Look like inetd fails to allocate memory during 'out of swap space'
 period. Pointers are however stored (and cannot be realloced).
 
 Problem goes away (of course) after killing and restarting
 inetd (no reboot is required)
