Since installing drm-61, I have not had any issues and have functional DRI = and video accel (VAAPI) running the modesetting driver. It will run by default = if the Intel driver is not installed or you can specify it in your config. You= can find the driver used in the Xorg.0.log file, but it is tricky as it tries loading multiple drivers.
