How about something really silly like:
.if exists(${LIBKRB}) && defined(MAKE_KERBEROS4)
:
.endif
After all:
LIBKDB?= ${DESTDIR}${LIBDIR}/libkdb.a
LIBKRB?= ${DESTDIR}${LIBDIR}/libkrb.a
LIBDIR varies depending on the build environment, so it should work
reasonably well...
