Dear Sirs, I'm installing FreeBSD on a Pentium 166 MX + 64 Mega RAM old machine. I got in troubles with the CD drive after installation (apparently, even if was working well during installation, it gives an I/O error after installation). Looking for some help, I read the Installation STABLE pdf document about the current stable version. At page 15 I found a remark about a so-called UserConfig utility, for wich the above document pointed to the HARDWARE.TXT document. I cold not find any trace of this utility in HARDWARE.TXT, nor in the man pages that are availablke on the site, nor making a site search using "UserConfig" as keyword. Where is this phantom utility?
