Sounds reasonable. I imagine, though, that the optimizations will be
different than for some other chips! (The DLC is known to execute complex
instructions faster than the newer RISC-like Intel chips, which like
simple load, store, and register-to-register operations.) Will the
compiler handle this automatically?
