Addionally, if I let the machine sit after it panics I get:
spin lock sched lock held by 0xc54743f0 for > 5 seconds
But the machine still doesn't respond.
As for the mozilla freezing the machine, moving /etc/libmap.conf
out of the way, the machine still freezes.
