All of what you want to do is possible, although *verified users* is harder. I suggest you contact a local ISP and ask them for help or the name of a consultant who can help you. Alternatively, read the docs for the ppp command, and see if you can experiment with the -alias flag, which will provide access from lan to Internet but not vice versa. The reason I don't elaborate is that there is just *so much* to say on the topic. And yes, you can run uucp over leased line, and even over TCP/IP. Danny
