I was looking over the PPP tutorials and it seems they are falling short on instructions.

If you look at http://www.freebsd.org/tutorials/ppp/x524.html they hint about IP Aliasing, Network Address Translation, Address Masquerading, and Transparent Proxying.  But they don't tell you how to do it.  As a newbie to freeBSD I find the ppp section lacking in good well written instructions, also it does not seem up to date with the current version of PPP, for example ppp 2.24 does not have the -alias switch but rather the -nat switch.

I would pester the news groups but I'm sure it gets annnoying for everybody to have to answer the same questions over and over in hopes that somebody will update the documentation that's available on your web site.

I certainly hope that the on-line documentation gets updated, verified, and tested for functionality.
