freefall crashed earlier today, and it must have gotten whacked.  Peter
made some CVS changes recently, but it looks like the version I just
stuck in there is the correct one (according to the commitlogs.)

ps.  This is the 3rd time in so many weeks that a file got whacked.  If
we want to be taken seriously, we should try to get WC to invest in a
UPS and a tape changer so backups can be done regularly.
