Mine is a Comet Lake and I am now have a veri= fied hardware issue with the keyboard, so I suspect is that my system, while demonstrating similar symptoms, is actually entirely a hardware issue. The = main board and disk have been replaced and I will be sending it in to get the keyboard/mousepad replaced. I will update if that turns out to be the issue.
