Have you considered not running KDE? I run KDE apps without running KDE o=
n my=20
old AMD K6-2/350. I run the XFCE window manager and can use any KDE or GN=
OME=20
apps I want without the overhead of running those 'desktop environments'.=
 =20
And they all work as expected. Just another suggestjon. ;-)
