We have a customer who would like to block the down loads of things like mpeg music files on his LAN. With such small bandwidth downloading .mpg files can nearly cause the other members on the LAN to stop. He uses userland PPP to dial into us on one global address and he has a Squid Proxy in his FreeBSD 3.3 box. On our side we run him through IPFW and use ICP from his Squid to ours. He already blocks the ftp port requests, so this would be coming from an http server. Any ideas?
