Since they're probably going to need local patches anyway, you can
slip a vendor branch in underneath what's already there.  It will be
very useful later when you want to merge in NetBSD or OpenBSD patches.

$ fncvs import src/usr.bin/pkill NETBSD NetBSD_20040325

BTW, I assume that you are aware of lioux's work on sysutils/pkill?
