Approving - what? Please clarify what do you mean. 1. Adding new port? Nothing to approve. Default perl version is still 5.12, introducing 5.14 do not break anything. 2. Changing bsd.perl.mk? grep MAINTAINER /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.perl.mk PERL_Include_MAINTAINER= perl@FreeBSD.org Hopefully and obviously I am belong to perl@FreeBSD.org. 3. Changing lang/perl*? grep MAINTAINER /usr/ports/lang/perl*/Makefile /usr/ports/lang/perl5.10/Makefile:MAINTAINER= skv@FreeBSD.org /usr/ports/lang/perl5.12/Makefile:MAINTAINER= skv@FreeBSD.org /usr/ports/lang/perl5.14/Makefile:MAINTAINER= skv@FreeBSD.org /usr/ports/lang/perl5.8/Makefile:MAINTAINER= skv@FreeBSD.org 4. Changing bsd.port.mk? I've changed only "snippet" from bsd.perl.mk which still present in bsd.port.mk by some reasons (historical, mystical, so on). Many attempts to unbind bsd.port.mk from bsd.perl.mk are good examples of labour of Sisyphus. This work is still not finished: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-ports/2010-July/thread.html#62450 http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-perl/2010-July/thread.html#2631 -- Sergey Skvortsov mailto: skv@FreeBSD.org
