You patch the vacation program to ignore email with "Precedence: list",
or you correct the FreeBSD mailing list software to change the header
to "Precedence: bulk", like everyone else.

Since I didn't see this until you posted it to the list, it's more
likely that you did a "group reply" to the list and the person whose
vacation program is responding to you.  If you just mail to the list,
that won't happen.
