I don't know when it will change.  Somebody I met on IRC managed to
compile from CVS (which I tried and failed miserably).  I can send you
his libs, which he passed on to me.  If you're interested just reply,
although I have a Voodoo3 and there are different compile options so
they may not work with your card.  Still, they are only small and worth
a try.
