Seriously, you may need to do a little
more reading to understand what FreeBSD
is, and what Linux is.

If you run one of the myriad Linux distributions,
you might check out the following:

Notice first off, this page is a *rant*.  It's actually quite
well written (and w3c compliant, ;-), but it's possible
that you may feel a tad bit of angst from the writer.
(Not too much, really ... but....)

If so, it's probably only because he got tired of
continuously answering questions similar to yours
on an extremely regular basis.

No harm done, IMHO.  Yours is actually a valid,
though strange (if you are "in the know") question.
Hopefully Mr. Fuller's article will save us all
some time in getting to the bottom of your curiosity.
