Yea, it works.  It's not too bad either.  I think the last time I looked
it didn't do any cacheing of lookups, so they are 1 for 1 on calls.  Make
sure you LDAP indexing is proper.  Slow lookups are bad for
authentication.

"cd /usr/ports/security/pam_ldap && make install"
