If you are just talking about mounting a regular CD-ROM that you have put into a dvd drive, you can just do `mount_cd9660 /dev/acd0c /cdrom` substituting your proper device name and mount point. If you are talking about /playing/ DVD's on FreeBSD - well...that is a different matter. I know people have been able to do it using 4.1, in fact I kind of was sorta ( <grin> ) able to play a dvd using 4.1-STABLE, however it wasn't perfect. FreeBSD can mount DVD's perfectly fine - it's just playing them which is the problem. There are howto's (albeit, very outdated) on www.opendvd.org, but the FreeBSD one is rather...sparse - as in it just has a couple things to download. I hope that someday I can watch DVD's with ease on my FreeBSD box. ...It's nice to have a dream I guess :) isetr0 On Mon, Oct 09, 2000 at 06:06:16PM -0400, Rory Savage wrote: > > > To whom it concerns, > > > I am running a 4.1-RELEASE version of FreeBSD.
