There are no longer any FreeBSD people doing work for Adaptec. 
Occasionally I fiddle with aac stuff for them, but I no longer have
anything to do with the 'fakeraid' as you call it =-)  Getting specs
out of Marvell is impossible; it's been tried many times for their
previous SATA and network chips, and the result is almost always
nothing but frustration.
