I hate that when that happens. It has happened with a lot of ports lately (i.e. unixODBC). I usually figure the port was upgraded but the patches weren't removed - so I remove them. It usually works :( Tom Veldhouse veldy@veldy.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nader Turki" <nturki@hotmail.com> To: <freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.org> Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2001 12:16 PM Subject: ports > Hi guys, > > I updated my ports, and wheni try installing pine i get an error. > > ===> Extracting for pine-4.31 > >>Checksum OK for pine4.31.tar.gz. > ===> pine-4.31 depends on shared library: c-client4.8 - not found > ===> Verifying install for c-client4.8 in /usr/ports/mail/cclient > ===> Extracting for cclient-4.8 > >>Checksum OK for imap-2000a.tar.Z. > ===> Patching for cclient-4.8 > ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for cclient-4.8 > 1 out of 1 hunks failed--saving rejects to src/osdep/unix/mx.c.rej > >>Patch patch-ad failed to apply cleanly. > >>Patch(es) patch-aa patch-ab patch-ac applied cleanly. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/cclient. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/cclient. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/cclient. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/cclient. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/cclient. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/cclient. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/pine4. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/pine4. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/pine4. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/pine4. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/pine4. > *** Error code 1 > > Stop in /usr/ports/mail/pine4. > > Hope someone can help me with this problem. > > Thanks, > > Nader > _________________________________________________________________ > Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
