I used freebsd-update to update a 9.2-RELEASE-p10 i386 system to 10.1-RC2. After installing the kernel and rebooting, still using the 9.2 userland, ifconfig showed no interfaces. Is this expected? Do I need to bounce through 9.3 or 10.0 first? Thanks, Eric
