Hum. The disk finally stopped responding:

ncr0: timeout nccb=0xfffffe0000163800 (skip)

Power-off. Power-on. I get many of these:

Processor correctable error through vector 00000063.

(similar problem if I try to boot Linux on another drive)

Is there any hope of resurrecting the box ?
