Yup, I also tried kldloading it & wi just in case but to no avail. l[root@xyzzy] /boot/kernel .: kldload wlan kldload: can't load wlan: File exists My kernel config is exactly the same since 20030115 when I added wlan to it. I haven't made any changes at all apart from the standard cvsup, make world, mergemaster, make kernel. I notice that this time the mergemaster overwrote /etc/defaults/pccard.conf but there is still a valid entry in there for TOSHIBA Wireless LAN Card. Up until my last cvsup everything worked fine. In fact I just realised I also cvsupped yesterday to get my sendmail sources in line with what I am running on other machines, so the change has happened in the 23 hours between one cvsup & the next. The reason I did today's cvsup is I was noticing wierdness with how the fxp card was acting (this seems ok since this cvsup ;)). Let me know if you want more.
