I have a machine that was in service for a month when it ceased to have a= default gateway. I have one listed in the rc.conf file. but when you do a= netstat -r it does not show up. the machine can see anything on the local= network includeing the gateway ip which does snow up when you do a netstat= -r but no static route will show up at all. does anyone have any idea's. i= would like to figure this one out as oposed to simply re-installing the= os. thanks for any light anyone can shed on this.
