Fair enough... a trace of about the first 10 seconds generated by 'ktrace -di thunderbird' is available at ftp://rene-ladan.nl/pub/freebsd/ktrace.out You'll need a amd64 machine to kdump it. Note that nothing user-visible happens when I start thunderbird.
