I wanted to add this piece of data (reflected in spreadsheet):

I was able to reproduce this problem on Amazon EC2 using official FreeBSD AMIs
(both 10.3-STABLE and 11.0-RELEASE) on a t2.micro instance.  Launch, wait
several minutes, then look at the system.  There, timecounter is XENTIMER, and
eventtimer is XENTIMER.
