Hi, Just wanted to add something about the mouse issue: on my thinkpad 600E when I switch to virtual console and then go back to X, the mouse stops responding in X. It still works in vt though. The system is 4.1-STABLE with XFree86-4 from ports. psm0: <PS/2 Mouse> irq 12 on atkbdc0 psm0: model Generic PS/2 mouse, device ID 0 --Roman Shterenzon, UNIX System Administrator and Consultant [ Xpert UNIX Systems Ltd., Herzlia, Israel.
