hi -- i did a new release of vile recently, and was wondering if someone
could apply these patches to the ports/editors directory to update the
version numbers.
i assume the proper etiquette is to leave the old version at the master
site for a good long time, to ensure that older ports directories still
work. is that right? the question is, how long is "a good long time"?
any advice appreciated. (specifically, how long should "vile-5.2.tar.gz"
continue to exist, now that vile-5.6.tar.gz is available?)
(actually, just today there seem to be network problems preventing access
to id.wing.net. but the site really is valid. honest...)
