Here's a small suggestion for the "Automated package list creation" chapter in .../en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/porting-autoplist.html: Change the line (cd /var/tmp/port-name && find -d * -type d) | comm -13 OLD-DIRS - | sed -e 's#^#@dirrm #' >> pkg-plist to (cd /var/tmp/port-name && find -d * -type d) | comm -13 OLD-DIRS - | sed -e 's#^#@dirrm #' | sort -r >> pkg-plist By inserting "sort -r" directories are sorted effectively by length, so it is assured that parent directories are not deleted before their subdirectories.
