Hello all, I was wondering which *native* JDKs most of you are referring to when discussing compiling JDKs or adding JDK packages. Is it IBM's Linux 1.3, which is located in the /ports/www of the latest freebsd release? Or is it Ibm's 1.3.1 which is also run in linux emulation? Must linux emulation be on in order to make any of these JDKs work? Finally, which servlet engines are most of you running? Ive heard bad things about Tomcat with regard to speed and over all stability. Some have suggested Jetty or GNUjsp for jsp/beans work. Ive read that Orion Application Server is also a good alternative to tomcat. Which is more efficient and speedy? Thanks in advance for the responses! -Mel To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-java" in the body of the message
