            Bug ID: 281397
Summary: FreeBSD-SA-24:05 fix causes warnings "pf: ICMP error
message too short (ip6)" in the debug log
           Product: Base System
           Version: 14.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: freebsd_email@congenio.de

As already stated in
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D280701#c80, FreeBSD-SA-=
24:05
causes log entries like:

"pf: ICMP error message too short (ip6)"

See: https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=3D42632.msg211600#msg211600

In order to create the issue, use an iperf3 test over a FreeBSD machine tha=
t is
configured as a router.

As told before, all of these logs entries disappear after reverting the cha=
nges
introduced by the SA.
