There seems to have been a change with 4.5-Stable since -Release, as I could write CDs then but I can't now (As of 2002-02-15). The Cdrecord port has not changed in that time, although I have recompiled it after updating to 4.5-Stable. The blank disc is spat out almost as soon as the write operation starts. Here is what cdrecord reports: Cdrecord 1.10 (i386-unknown-freebsd4.5) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Jörg Schilling TOC Type: 1 = CD-ROM Using libscg version 'schily-0.5' atapi: 0 Device type : Removable CD-ROM Version : 2 Response Format: 2 Capabilities : SYNC Vendor_info : 'YAMAHA ' Identifikation : 'CRW8824S ' Revision : '1.00' Device seems to be: Generic mmc CD-RW.
