Are you sure that this 'Device busy' did not occur during the sense period, while the drive itself was trying to find out what kind of disc you had just popped in? Wait a few seconds (usually until the light on the drive stops blinking) and try mounting it again. G'luck, Peter -- If this sentence didn't exist, somebody would have invented it.
